Asbestos Solutions Northern Ireland were delighted to have been carefully selected to conduct asbestos surveying of the Harland and Wolff, Titanic Drawing Offices Belfast including the Pavilions building.

We were appointed by Abercorn Construction Ltd (Who are the main Building Contractors) to carry out a Pre- refurbishment Asbestos Survey of the buildings prior to their renovation, restoration and conversion of existing buildings into new luxury hotel.

The derelict offices of the headquarters building including the Drawing Offices were transferred to Titanic Foundation Limited under a seven year lease in 2012. The Titanic Foundation undertook various refurbishment works to allow the Drawing Offices to be opened to the public for tours and pop-up events, while developing a long term plan for the building. The building is on Queens road in the shadow of the new Titanic Centre (you can just see it just over the right hand side of photograph).
